Description
The PCA9685 16-Channel 12-Bit PWM Servo Motor Driver Module is a versatile PWM controller designed to control multiple servo motors and PWM-based devices using a simple I2C interface. It provides 16 independently controllable PWM channels, allowing multiple servos or LED devices to be controlled using only two communication lines.
The module is based on the PCA9685 PWM controller and provides 12-bit PWM resolution, enabling precise control of servo position, LED brightness, and other PWM applications. Multiple modules can be connected on the same I2C bus by configuring different I2C addresses.
An onboard terminal provides a convenient connection for an external power supply for connected servos, while the standard I2C pins make it easy to interface with popular development boards.
It is particularly useful for robotic arms, multi-servo robots, hexapod robots, pan-tilt mechanisms, animatronics, LED control and automation projects.
