System Components

• Arduino: The central controller that processes the sensor data and controls the servos for gate movement.
• Servo Motors: Used to open and close the railway crossing gate.
• IR Sensors: Detect the presence of an approaching train, triggering the gate’s movement.
• L298N Motor Driver: Powers and controls the motor for shed movement.
• Battery: Powers the entire system, ensuring continuous operation even in areas with unstable power supply.

Working Principle

The Fan Suicide Prevention System operates on a sensor-based safety mechanism: when unusual weight is detected, it triggers alarms, lowers the fan, and displays the room information.

• Train Detection: The IR sensors detect the approaching train and send a signal to the Arduino.
• Gate Movement: The Arduino processes the sensor data and activates the servo motors to open the crossing gate when the train is detected.
• Automatic Closing: Once the train has passed, the system automatically closes the gate to allow traffic flow.
